FEBA's Scientific Seminar
Seminars are delivered by FEBA faculty members or researchers from other universities, the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, foreign universities and research centres, as well as by outstanding doctoral candidates at the ABD (all-but-dissertation) stage.
When a study is believed to be relatively mature, its author can present it at the seminar to receive feedback about how best to position the future publication. A manuscript may be already under review, in the revise-and-resubmit stage, or even rejected. All these are good moments to discuss with colleagues and receive fresh ideas how to bring the job to a successful end. The text itself is not shared but only a PowerPoint presentation.
It is understood that the paper is intended for a possibly high-ranking publication outlet, but that is not formally required.
