Mission

• To extend the boundaries of economic and political theories and practices,
• To train the talented economics and politics researchers
• To help government and enterprises make decisive improvements in their strategy and performance.

 

Goal

To become a world-class research centre for economics and politics and a major education base for China economics and politics study.

China has achieved tremendous economic progress in the last three decades. It characterizes China’s economic reforms in terms of a multidimensional classification of economic system. There is much work to be done to make the economy resilient to large shocks, ensure the sustainability of its growth, and translate this growth into corresponding improvement in the economic welfare of its citizens. This is many deep-rooted problems need to research.
Taking advantage of rich academic environment of Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski and integrating the talents of economists, politician, and other disciplines, the centre will advance the boundaries of economics and politics research and business practice.
