On 19 November 2025, the interactive workshop “Create Your Future” was held at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, led by Marc Dubois – co-founder of the Swiss art–technology studio Fragmentin, digital artist and facilitator. The workshop was part of the faculty’s efforts to introduce innovative educational formats that combine creative approaches, systems thinking, and topics related to sustainable development.
During the workshop, students and business representatives were divided into groups working with different creative approaches. One group created their own virtual installations based on opposing variables, exploring the constructive tension between contrasting trends and developing a deeper understanding of their interdependence. Another group chose to work with positively framed variables, creating visual metaphors that highlight the opportunities and transformative potential of sustainable solutions. A third group developed a simplified model suitable for academic purposes, designed to visualize the key interrelations between ESG variables and to demonstrate the structure of systems thinking in a clear and accessible way.
The format was inspired by the ideas of Richard Buckminster Fuller and his world-renowned World Peace Game model, which promotes understanding of the complexity of global interconnections and teaches participants to analyze different perspectives under conditions of uncertainty. This philosophy also underpins the newly installed G80 interactive art installation in the faculty building, created as an educational tool for systems thinking and future scenarios. The installation is the first of its kind at the university and aims to present the relationships between key sustainability and ESG variables in an accessible way.
The “Create Your Future” workshop aligns with the mission of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration to foster an educational environment that prepares students and young professionals to work within complex and interconnected systems. It provided an opportunity to combine analytical and creative skills, deepened understanding of global processes, and encouraged participants to explore future scenarios through a blend of artistic and scientific approaches.
