During his stay at the University of Hamburg, Prof. Dr. Georgi Mengov delivered a scientific lecture to the Department of Social Economics. The topic of the presentation was “Socioeconomic Forecasting in Turbulent Times: A Neurocomputational Approach”.
As part of the event, held in November, participants had the opportunity to discuss current issues related to the application of artificial intelligence in developing socioeconomic forecasts. The lecture also highlighted the important role of research conducted by the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.
Prof. Mengov’s visit was by invitation of Prof. Dr. Ulrich Fritsche from the University of Hamburg and was funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
