On March 20, 2026, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” welcomed more than 60 students from the National Finance and Business High School as part of an organized visit aimed at supporting their academic and career orientation.
The program began in Hall 420 with an official presentation of the bachelor’s degree programs offered by the Faculty, namely:
- “Economics and Finance” (taught in English and French);
- “Business Administration” (taught in English, German, and French);
- “Accounting, Finance and Digital Applications” (taught in English);
- “International Trade and Investment” (taught in English).
Prof. Stancheva, Operational Director of the Career Center, presented the bachelor’s programs, the history and development of the Faculty, as well as the application opportunities and procedures. She also outlined the career prospects after graduation.
During the presentation, emphasis was placed on modern curricula and the wide range of professional opportunities, as well as the international prospects offered by the Faculty as an established leader in the field of economic education in Bulgaria.
After the official part, participants had the opportunity for informal interaction during an organized brunch, where they met representatives of the student organizations Business Club, AIESEC, and ESN. They presented opportunities for participation in international exchange programs, leadership initiatives, and collaboration with business.
Adriana Branicheva, Chair of the Business Club and Executive Director of the Alumni Club, introduced the students to the activities of the organizations, the benefits for current and prospective students, and the opportunities for professional development after graduation. She also highlighted the achievements of the Faculty’s graduates and their contribution to the present.
As part of the event, the guests toured the Faculty’s facilities and became acquainted with the academic environment at the University.
The program concluded with a discussion on the topic “Professions of the Future”, led by Mr. Natanail Stefanov—entrepreneur, Deputy Chair of the Board of Directors of Sofia Tech Park, and alumnus of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. In his presentation, he shared practical insights into labor market dynamics and encouraged students to make informed and confident choices regarding higher education.
The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration expresses its gratitude to the leadership and teaching staff of the National Finance and Business High School for their trust and long-standing cooperation. The event is yet another testament to the strong connection between secondary and higher economic education in Bulgaria.
