In the context of growing climate challenges and the need to engage young people more actively with sustainability issues, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and the “Kauzi” Foundation are joining forces within the project “Green Future: Innovative and Sustainable Solutions for Building a Better World”.
Two of the planned events have already taken place at the Faculty, attracting strong interest from high school and university students who participated in interactive simulations, discussions, and hands-on activities dedicated to climate change and green innovation.
During the workshops, participants assumed the roles of representatives from different sectors — business, public institutions, academia, and civil society organizations — working together to find solutions to real social, economic, and environmental challenges.
The project continues with two additional simulation workshops “Missions for Active Citizenship and Climate Change” which will be held on October 14 and 21, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.
These events will offer young participants a dynamic and gamified learning environment, helping them develop critical thinking skills and encouraging them to become active citizens contributing to the sustainable future of their communities.
Those wishing to participate can register via the participation form: REGISTRATION.
The project is implemented with the financial support of Sofia Municipality – “Europe 2025” Programme and aims to promote education for sustainable development and civic engagement among young people.
