On 17 November 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Savina Mihaylova-Goleminova will participate in the 22nd edition of the Vienna Economic Forum – “Vienna Future Dialogue 2025”. The event will take place in Vienna, and the official program, together with the live streaming link, will be available on the Forum’s website.
In 2024, the Vienna Economic Forum (VEF) launched an initiative to establish a “League of Universities” from the VEF region. The initiative has been highly appreciated and led to the signing of new Memoranda of Understanding with Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, the University of National and World Economy – Sofia, and the University of Prishtina, in addition to the long-standing cooperation with DA-Vienna, New Bulgarian University, and IEDC – Bled School of Management.
The project is rapidly developing across the VEF member countries and is aligned with the motto “Innovations. Intellectual Power as a Motor”.
In this context, the Vienna Economic Forum was a strategic partner of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University in two key events held in 2025:
- On 15–16 May 2025, a discussion forum on “Protection of the EU’s Financial Interests and Investment Opportunities” took place at Sofia University. The main organizer was the Master’s Program “Economics and Management of Public Resources” at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, with the support of the Center for Educational Services, the Association “Center for Sustainable Policies”, and Lex Analytica Ltd.
- On 23 October 2025, a discussion forum on “Concessions – Opportunities and Challenges” was held, jointly organized by Sofia University and the Vienna Economic Forum.
