International conference "Russia, Europe, and the World" started in the New Conference Hall, Sofia University, on 28th September. It was hosted by the Faculty of History and the Institute for Doctoral and Postdoctoral Students "Dialogue Europe".
The event gathered scientists from the Faculty of History, the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, representatives of the universities St. Cyril and St. Methodius University (Veliko Tarnovo) and South-West University (Blagoevgrad), as well as participants from Russia, Czech Republic, Greece, and Germany.
Some of the accents of the conference are "Confrontation and dialogue of civilizations in Russia - religion, culture, and politics", "Dialogue and collaboration", etc. The round table on "Diplomacy and intelligence during the Cold War" raised a great interest.
