The meeting hall of the Faculty of Chemistry was the place where Mr. Veli-Pekka Hyttinen, Regional Marketing Manager, SII for CAS presented the product SciFinder and the new opportunity for searching for information in Chemical Abstracts.
SciFinder is the most complete data base for chemical information, which collects all scientific papers and patents in the field of chemistry. It is successfully used in most European and non-European universities, with constantly improved services and developed data base. The programme is irreplaceable tool for achieving higher scientific efficiency.
Sofia University Library supported the accessibility of this tool for the Faculty of Chemistry, whose library will provide it to the established and future chemists.
