The Department of English and American Studies of Sofia University and publishing house "Nauka i izkustvo" (Science and Art) present the new complete academic Bulgarian-English dictionary by Prof. Maya Pencheva, Dr. Habil., and Dr. Aleksandra Bagasheva.
The dictionary contains 145 000 entries, with more than 410 000 equivalents.
The edition presents everyday lexicon, as well words and expressions related to Bulgarian traditions and realia.
The structure of the dictionary allows for its use for communicative purposes as an active instrument. It contains synonyms in diverse registers, as well as 13 thematic appendices.
It will be presented on 25th March, Hall 2, by Assoc. Prof. Dr Hristo Stamenov. На 25 март от 18:00 часа в Зала № 2.
