The second stage of the national pilot competition "Knowledge about Europe" took place on 23rd and 24th. The initiative is under the project "Learning about Europe through activities", funded by Lifelong Learning Jean Monnet.
The competition is organized by the Department of European Studies, Faculty of Philosophy, Sofia University and the National Association of the Bulgarian European Clubs in Schools.
More than 300 participants from 9th to 12th degree from a round the country sent essays on "What does it mean to be a EU citizen?". The second stage was for 23 participants, who passed a test and presented their opinion to a jury. The winners are:
