Students from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" visited the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Bulgaria on June 4, 2024. They were welcomed by Deputy Minister Dr. Stefan Belchev, who is a member of the team of the Master's program " Economics and Management of Public Resources".

Dr. Belchev acquainted the students with the authorities of the Ministry of Finance and presented the coordination regarding the activities of the Public Procurements Agency, The Public Financial Inspection Agency (PFIA), and the Capital Investment Control Directorate at the Ministry of Finance. He also informed the students about the activities of the Control Methodology and Internal Audit Directorate at the Ministry of Finance.

In June 2023, The Public Financial Inspection Agency (PFIA) signed a cooperation agreement with the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".

The visit was organized as part of the master's program "Economics and Management of Public Resources", led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Savina Mihaylova-Goleminova, in collaboration with the master's program "Customs and Tax Control" led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tsvetan Madanski.
