On June 14, 2024, the award ceremony for the laureates of the 20th Jubilee National Contest "Young Economist 2024" took place under the slogan "The Voice of the Youth for a Strong Economy" and on the theme "Digital Skills and Artificial Intelligence". In the "Students" category, first place was won by Stoycho Rusinov and Raya Georgieva from the "Economics and Finance" program, 3rd year, at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".

Prof. Dr. Tatyana Hubenova-Delisivkova, Chair of the Board of the Union of Economists in Bulgaria, congratulated the students on their high distinction. Stoycho Rusinov and Raya Georgieva thanked the committee, as well as Assoc. Prof. Dimitar Zlatinov and PhD candidate Nino Avreyski for their valuable critical feedback during the development of their work.

Assoc. Prof. Sonya Georgieva and Chief Assist. Prof. Dr. Rositsa Zlatinska from the Department of Economics congratulated the two students for their excellent performance.
