During the meeting, the Institute's management presented the main areas of activity, research and development projects, as well as the progress of GATE as a Center of Excellence in the field of big data and artificial intelligence. The demonstration program highlighted developments and technologies in the applied areas of "Future Cities" and "Digital Health", as well as key elements of the Institute's infrastructure and laboratories financed by the Operational Program "Science and Education for Smart Growth".

In the subsequent conversation, opportunities for future cooperation between the GATE Institute and the Ministry of Education and Science were discussed, including in the context of strategic priorities in the field of digital transformation, innovation and human capital. GATE presented information about its educational initiatives and programmes.

Minister Valchev highly appreciated the achievements to date and emphasized the importance of GATE's efforts to develop an innovative scientific and educational environment in Bulgaria. He expressed readiness for active dialogue and cooperation in support of young talents, scientific teams and the implementation of new technologies in education and society.
