The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) will host three key lectures on financial policies delivered by senior leaders and experts from the European Investment Bank (EIB) Group.

Mr. Teodor Radonov, financial expert and Head of the EIB Group's Bulgarian office, and Mrs. Borislava Gabrovska, Senior Advisor at EIB, will present the activities of the European Investment Bank Group, including institutional overview, consultancy services, venture capital, risk debt, securitization, and bank guarantees.

A guest lecture by Hristo Stoyanov, who leads the business development activities of the European Investment Fund (EIF) in Bulgaria. Joining the EIF team in Sofia in 2011, Mr. Stoyanov oversees operations of the Bulgarian Holding Fund, providing financing for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through financial instruments such as credit guarantees, startup accelerators, and venture capital funds.

A guest lecture titled “The Role of the EIB as the EU's Climate Bank” will be delivered by Isidoro Tapia, Senior Climate Officer at the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg. Before joining the EIB, Mr. Tapia served as Secretary-General of the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving (IDAE) and as an advisor to the Secretary of State for Energy. He has also been a Spanish representative to the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) and a consultant at the law firm Solchaga & Recio y Asociados.
The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration is the first academic partner of the European Investment Bank in Bulgaria. This collaboration began five years ago, during which numerous managers and experts from the EIB, EIF, and the EIB Institute have delivered lectures to students of the Faculty.
Last year, three master’s students from the Faculty participated in the EIB Summer School in Luxembourg, supported by the EIB and FEBA. This collaboration provides students with practical experience and insights into modern trends in economics and finance.
