On October 26, 2024, Rumen Petkov, a doctoral student at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and Head of Global Media at Ficosota, presented a lecture to fourth-year students on the topic of "Digital Transformation" — an inspiring exploration of the future of business and media communications. The lecture was part of the inaugural activities of the newly established Gamification Transformation Lab, which began its initiatives on the same day.
With his extensive experience in media communications and digital campaigns, Rumen Petkov offered students insight into the changes and challenges of the digital age. The lecture explored how new technologies and communication platforms reshape traditional business, unveiling innovative approaches for adaptation and sustainable development in the digital environment.
This lecture was part of the activities initiated by the Gamification Transformation Lab team, established with the mission of providing students with practical knowledge and development opportunities, as well as preparing them for the dynamic world of digital technology and innovation.
The event concluded with a discussion, where students had the opportunity to ask questions and receive practical advice from Rumen Petkov on the future of media communications, the role of artificial intelligence, and other digital tools in business.
