On October 15th, the new annual edition of the Harvard courses was officially opened at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. As in the previous year, the course "Raising a Nation" will be offered during the winter semester, while "Microeconomics of Competitiveness" will be available in the summer semester.

The opening was attended by the academic director of the courses at Sofia University and Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atanas Georgiev, as well as Kostadin Petkov, Director of the Center for Economic Strategies and Competitiveness, who holds the rights to the MOC program from Harvard Business School. The course is taught by alumni of the first editions of the Harvard course, some of whom are also alumni of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University.

Lectures are held every Tuesday and Thursday at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration in Hall 304, named after the Founding Dean Prof. Dr. Georgi Chobanov. The program is open to all ambitious and curious individuals who apply at the beginning of the academic year. Lectures are entirely in English, and participation is completely free of charge.
