Assoc. Prof. Todor Yalamov, Vice-Dean, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, participated in a discussion on the development of economic relations between Bulgaria and Japan, held on November 28, 2023, in Sofia. The event was organized by the "Friends of Japan in Bulgaria - Nihon Tomono Kai" club, chaired by Assoc. Prof. Boyan Zhekov.

The discussion was the closing event of the 34th "Days of Japanese Culture in Bulgaria" and the first public appearance of Mr. Hisashi Michigami, the new Ambassador of Japan in Bulgaria. Assoc. Prof. Evgeniy Kandilarov from the Department of Japanese Studies of FCMP, SU "St. Kliment Ohridski" and Nikolay Padarev from the "Meiji" corporation, who joined from Japan, also participated in the event.

Vladimir Kanev from JETRO and Assoc. Prof. Yordan Yordanov from NSA also took part in the discussion.
