The CEE Vienna International Tax Law Summer School is set to return from July 14 to 18, 2025, offering a unique academic opportunity for students from Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries. Organized by the renowned Institute for Austrian and International Tax Law, the program focuses on double tax treaties and European tax law, and will be conducted entirely in English.
This intensive, one-week summer school is tailored for full-time students with a solid understanding of their national legal systems and a strong interest in pursuing a career in tax law. Participants will engage in in-depth sessions led by experienced professors and research associates, diving into advanced topics in international taxation.
The participation fee is set at EUR 2,000. However, full-time students and those employed as university teaching or research assistants are eligible to apply for a fee waiver. In addition, participants may request a subsidy for travel expenses. A non-refundable handling fee of EUR 50 will be required from all selected applicants.
