Position
  • Title: Customer Service Representative
  • Location: U.S. Embassy Sofia, Bulgaria
  • Salary: BGN 28,800 per year (gross)
  • Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week)
  • Contract Type: Permanent (subject to successful completion of probationary period)
Responsibilities
  • Manage the one-stop Customer Service Center (CSC) for U.S. Embassy Sofia, supporting all U.S. Government agencies at the post.
  • Distribute inquiries to CSC representatives, provide work guidance, and monitor performance standards.
  • Track and log inquiries, ensuring International Cooperative Administrative Support Services (ICASS) standards are met.
  • Maintain a centralized information source for customers by providing up-to-date instructions regarding operations, regulations, and policies.
  • Follow up on inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction and high-quality service.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience in administrative or customer service roles.
  • Languages:Fluent in Bulgarian (speaking, reading, writing, and translating).
  • Good working knowledge of English (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Skills:Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and planning skills to facilitate communication between units.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work under pressure in a high-productivity environment.
