The Master’s Program in Environmental Management is an international joint degree program between Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” (Bulgaria) and Astana International University (Kazakhstan). Upon graduation, students receive two Master’s diplomas, opening doors to global professional opportunities.

Who can apply?
The program is suitable for graduates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in fields such as Natural and Environmental Sciences; Engineering and Technical Sciences; Agriculture, Biotechnology, and Veterinary Medicine; Economics, Management, Law, and Social Sciences; Health, Sports, or Education (with relevant background). Applicants must be enrolled students at the Astana International University in this master program at the time of application to the Sofia University. They should be demonstrate English proficiency (minimum B2 / IELTS 5.5) and successfully pass an interview.

What will you study?
The program is taught entirely in English and has two semesters at Sofia University.
During the first semester, the students will build a strong foundation in:
